Um dos grandes problemas para reabilitação de mandíbulas atróficas é a dificuldade de se colocar implantes na região posterior devido a reabsorção óssea causando uma superficialização do nervo aveolar, ficando mais sujeito a lesão. Para compensar esse quadro a prótese protocolo tipo All on Four vem sendo utilizada com muito sucesso, a técnica consiste na colocação de quatro implantes entre os forame mentuais, sendo os dois centrais axiais e paralelos e os das extremidades, inclinados para distal; unidos entre si por uma estrutura metálica, propiciando a colocação de carga imediata em um curto espaço de tempo. Diminuindo, assim, a morbidade do tratamento e devolvendo ao paciente saúde, função, estética e satisfação.

One of the major problem for the rehabilitation of atrophics jaws is the difficulty of placing implants in the posterior region due to bone resorption causing a superficial nerve aveolar, becoming more prone to injury. To compensate this frame prosthesis type All on Four Protocol has been used very successfully, the technique consists of placing four implants between the foramen mentoais, the two central axial and parallel and the ends, inclined distally; joined together by a metal frame, allowing the placement of immediate load in a short time. Thus reducing the morbidity of treatment and returning to the patient health, function, aesthetic and satisfaction.
