O deslocamento de disco da articulação da ATM tem sido definido como uma relação anormal do disco articular com o côndilo mandibular, fossa e eminência articulares, podendo se fazer presentes sem interferir com a função articular a curto prazo. Assim, este trabalho teve como objetivo fazer uma revisão de literatura sobre os tratamentos para os Deslocamentos de Disco Sem Redução da ATM. Nos estudos apresentados e também nas considerações dos autores, o estudo concluiu que tanto os métodos conservadores quanto os invasivos podem apresentar resultados positivos, porém, alguns autores concordam que o tratamento conservador ainda é o mais indicado, devendo o profissional decidir pelo invasivo somente em último caso. Dentre os métodos conservadores estão os exercícios mandibulares, a termoterapia, a farmacoterapia e os dispositivos interoclusais (placas oclusais). Também se constatou a carência de estudos científicos que pudessem comprovar algum método como mais eficaz e definitivo, o que se sugere ampliar as pesquisas para trazer novidades sobre este assunto.

The offset of the TMJ joint disc has been defined as an abnormal relationship of the mandibular condyle with the articular disk, and articular eminence, fossa can be present without interfering with the articular function in the short term. Thus, this work aimed to make a review of the literature on treatments for the Dislocations of disk without reducing (ATM). The study concluded that both the conservative and the invasive methods may show positive results, however, some authors agree that the conservative treatment is still the most suitable, and should be decided by the invasive Professional only in the latter case. Among the conservative methods are the mandibular exercises, thermotherapy, pharmacotherapy and interoclusais devices (occlusal plates). Also found the lack of scientific studies that could prove any more effective and permanent method such as, what if suggests extending the research to bring news about this subject.
